Finland’s TALIS 2024 national reports published – results to be discussed at January seminar
The international results of the OECD Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS) 2024 were published earlier this autumn. They have now been supplemented with Finland’s national results. Finland participated in the main TALIS 2024, which focused on lower secondary school teachers and principals, and in the TALIS Starting Strong module, which targeted staff in early childhood education and care and pre-primary education. Finland's TALIS results will be discussed at a seminar on 20 January 2026.
The main survey examined how lower secondary school teachers in grades 7 to 9 experience job satisfaction, stress, professional relationships, teacher education, continuous learning, mentoring, careers, and the use of digital tools when teaching.
TALIS Starting Strong 2024 focused on staff and leaders in early childhood education and care and gathered information on their play and learning practices, professional development, job satisfaction, development of the ECEC environment, and work-related stress.
