7.11.2022 | Enligt en färsk utredning har högskolorna i Finland fortfarande mycket att göra när det gäller att främja jämlikheten för undervisnings- och forskningspersonalen. KOTAMO-projektet, som beställts av undervisnings- och kulturministeriet, utredde hur jämställdheten mellan könen, likabehandlingen och mångfalden inom högskolesamfunden förverkligas vid de finländska högskolorna och hur dessa kan främjas. Projektets slutrapport publicerades måndagen den 7 november.

11.12.2024 | Det gemensamma företaget för ett europeiskt högpresterande datorsystem EuroHPC har valt de länder där de nya europeiska AI-fabrikerna (AI Factory) ska inrättas. En AI-fabrik består av en superdator som tillhandahåller datorkapacitet i världsklass och den datamängd och spetskompetens som byggs upp kring den.

2.12.2021 | KOTAMO-projektet, som beställts av undervisnings- och kulturministeriet, ska utreda hur man ska kunna främja jämställdhet, likabehandling och mångfald inom personalen vid de finländska högskolorna. Med utgångspunkt i utredningen utvecklas konkreta åtgärdsförslag för högskolorna samt nationella politikåtgärder.

Teaching and Learning International Survey – TALIS 2024 – is the OECD’s largest international study concerning teachers and principals/leaders. Finland is participating in TALIS for the third time. In Finland, the national implementation of the study is managed by the Finnish Institute for Educational Research at the University of Jyväskylä. The study is coordinated in Finland by the Ministry of Education and Culture.

In Finland, the share of teachers considering a career change has increased, although it remains similar to the OECD average. Trust among colleagues is strong, and collaboration between teachers has grown.

18.12.2025 | The international results of the OECD Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS) 2024 were published earlier this autumn. They have now been supplemented with Finland’s national results. Finland participated in the main TALIS 2024, which focused on lower secondary school teachers and principals, and in the TALIS Starting Strong module, which targeted staff in early childhood education and care and pre-primary education.
