18.12.2025 | The international results of the OECD Teaching and Learning International Survey (TALIS) 2024 were published earlier this autumn. They have now been supplemented with Finland’s national results. The principles guiding the work on the new vision will be introduced by Minister of Science and Culture Mari-Leena Talvitie. The draft common objectives for higher education and research up to 2040 will serve as a basis for the discussions.

In Finland, staff communicate and organise events for families more often than in most other participating countries. Stress levels among ECEC and pre-primary staff and leaders are lower in Finland than elsewhere, but staff shortages are a major source of stress.

Opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriö järjestää toiminnanohjauksen kokeiluun valituille ammatillisen koulutuksen järjestäjille suunnatun seminaarin keskiviikkona 26.11.2025. Tilaisuus käynnistää vuoropuhelun toiminnanohjauksen kokeiluun osallistuvien koulutuksen järjestäjien kanssa. Tilaisuuden tavoitteena on käydä läpi mm. kokeilun tavoitteita, indikaattoreita ja neuvottelumenettelyprosessia. Tilaisuuden tarkoituksena on myös kuulla järjestäjien odotuksia kokeilulle.

Opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriö järjestää tiistaina 2.12.2025 seminaarin ammatillisen koulutuksen järjestäjille, jotka jatkavat ammatillisen koulutuksen järjestämistä nykyisellä järjestämisluvalla. Tilaisuuden tarkoituksena on keskustella toiminnanohjauksen uudistamisesta sekä käynnistää vuoropuhelu ministeriön kanssa. Tilaisuuden tarkoituksena on myös kuulla järjestäjien odotuksia vuoropuhelulle.
