The subgroups for copyright infrastructure meet in different configurations including workshops to discuss topical issues related to practices on identifiers in the creative field, metadata, technology and infrastructure development, and legal issues linked to data and IP. The motif that the visual image expresses draws on the Government rosette design, which is derived from the heraldic rosette of the Finnish coat of arms.

27.9.2021 | The Ministry of Education and Culture is requesting comments on a proposed bill to implement the provisions of the EU DSM Directive and Online Broadcasting Directive as part of Finnish law.  Implementing the directives requires significant changes to the Copyright Act. The request for comments is published in the Lausuntopalvelu.fi service. The deadline for submitting comments is 31 October 2021.

The Year of Research-Based Knowledge 2021 invites everyone to familiarise themselves with a wide variety of reliable sources of information, ranging from research data and statistics to studies and analyses, and to make use of the information in their own lives and according to their own interests.

17.6.2010 | The Ministry of Education and Culture has appointed Director Rauno Anttila to carry out an inquiry into what type of new organisation is required to continue the work of FRAME, the Finnish Fund for Art Exchange. The ministry has also invited Professor Eija-Liisa Ahtila, Museum Director Juulia Kauste and Artist Professor Hannu Kähönen to support Anttila in his work. The group will issue its report by 31 December 2010.
