The subgroups for copyright infrastructure meet in different configurations including workshops to discuss topical issues related to practices on identifiers in the creative field, metadata, technology and infrastructure development, and legal issues linked to data and IP. A draft roadmap has been developed during year 2021. In 2022 focus on NFT's, data protection and EDICs (European Digital Infrastructure Consortium).

11.5.2021 | The Ministry of Education and Culture has a new visual image. The new emblem is in conformity with that of the Government, the Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Finance. The motif that the visual image expresses draws on the Government rosette design, which is derived from the heraldic rosette of the Finnish coat of arms.

23.3.2023 | President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö has awarded the title of Academician of Arts to playwright, theatre director, dramaturge Sirkku Peltola, composer Kaija Saariaho and performance artist Roi Vaara. The honorary title will be awarded at a ceremony to be held in Helsinki in March.

31.10.2022 | On 3 November, the Ministry of Education and Culture will organise an immigration dialogue where professionals in the arts and culture will discuss issues related to the diversity of cultural services based on their own experiences. The theme is cultural diversity, immigration and inclusion.

17.6.2010 | The Ministry of Education and Culture has appointed Director Rauno Anttila to carry out an inquiry into what type of new organisation is required to continue the work of FRAME, the Finnish Fund for Art Exchange. The ministry has also invited Professor Eija-Liisa Ahtila, Museum Director Juulia Kauste and Artist Professor Hannu Kähönen to support Anttila in his work. The group will issue its report by 31 December 2010.
