Beslutet fattades utifrån högskolornas förslag. Enligt beslutet ändras utbildningsansvaret vid fyra universitet och tre yrkeshögskolor. Utbildningsansvaret anger vilka examina inom vilka områden som kan avläggas vid en högskola.

29.3.2019 | The Ministry of Education and Culture together with the Ministry of the Environment have launched an inquiry into the future of Paimio Sanatorium, a historic building designed by architects Alvar and Aino Aalto. The inquiry will be headed by Heikki Alannen, Master of Laws trained on the bench, and Olavi Hiekka, Master of Science (Tech.). Their task will be to draw up a proposal for an economically viable model for covering the site’s maintenance and operating costs.
