The international EUROSTUDENT studies look at issues such as young people's access to higher education, the study conditions in higher education, students' use of time and their income, and integration of international students in Finland. Other key objectives and funding allocations include strengthening R&D competence and researcher careers, supporting research and technology infrastructures, and promoting European and international partnerships.

The core objective of the project is to build digital services to support individuals in making educational and career choices and maintaining and developing their competence throughout their careers and lives, as well as to promote a better match between work, competence, and demand and supply of education.
