10.12.2025 | The latest survey reveals that private copying of music and video content in Finland remains on a downward trajectory. In 2025, approximately 661,000 residents copied music or video for private use, down from 709,000 in 2024. Despite fewer people copying, the total number of copied files remains stable at an estimated 161–194 million.

20.9.2024 | According to a new study, the volume of legal private copying has continued to decline in Finland. In 2024, some 130,000 people aged 15 to 79 living in Finland copied music and 616,000 video material. Altogether, 709,000 people copied music or video material, which is less than in 2023, when the number was 755,000.

According to the Government’s education policy report, the Government will decide on the goals and guidelines on measures to improve equality in the higher education accessibility plan by the end of 2021. 7.5.2020 | The results of the PISA 2018 financial literacy assessments were published in 20 countries on 7 May 2020. With their average score of 537 points for the financial literacy assessment, Finnish young people were the second best together with Canada (532 points).
