24.5.2024 | A new international legal instrument has been adopted at the World Intelletual Property Organisation WIPO Diplomatic Conference in Geneva. The international agreementregarding a disclosure requirement related to genetic resources aims to enhance the efficacy, transparency and quality of the patent system with regard to genetic resources and associated traditional knowledge.

17.11.2020 | Four new competence clusters have been added to the Academy of Finland’s Flagship Programme. The Flagship Programme’s third call focused on collaboration between research teams and the business sector, and also on high-quality research with impact and the capacity for renewal. The Finnish Flagship decisions are part of the implementation of the new flexible partnership model of the Government’s RDI roadmap.

Finna.fi combines material from a number of different organisations and includes photographs, works of art, books, magazines, articles, maps, objects, sound recordings, sheet music, video and more. Through the API, anyone can access the metadata for almost 9 million entries in the Finna.fi service.
