Goals and results

The strategy serves to strengthen the role of culture as part of Finland's external relations and to promote exports in the cultural and creative sectors.

When preparing the strategy, attention is placed on ensuring support systems are interoperable, EU funding programmes are utilised and ways to boost international business and expertise are identified. Moreover, the strategy will explore ways to strengthen cooperation between culture and tourism and ways to reinforce intermediaries and agency competence in the field of arts, and it will examine the international mobility of creative professionals as well as the role of culture in external relations.

The strategy implements the Government Report on Cultural Policy.

Developing and statute drafting in the Government
