Scam alert: fraudulent letter sent in the name of the Ministry of Education and Culture

The Ministry of Education and Culture has become aware that a fraudulent letter or letters have been sent in its name. In the letter, the recipient is requested to contact the Ministry to book an appointment for an interview for the purposes of determining the "knowledge of cultural traditions" of the recipient's minor children. The Ministry of Education and Culture does not commission or conduct interviews like this, and the Ministry is not the sender of the letters.

 The Ministry urges all recipients of the scam letter to be alert and contact the police, if necessary.
