26.7.2026 | Unescon maailmanperintökomitea on hyväksynyt Aalto Works -arkkitehtuurikohteiden sarjan maailmanperintöluetteloon Busanissa Etelä-Koreassa 19.–29.7.2026 pidetyssä 48. istunnossaan. Kokonaisuus koostuu 13 Aaltojen suunnittelemasta modernin arkkitehtuurin kohteesta eri puolilta Suomea.

26.9.2025 | Forsknings- och kulturminister Mari-Leena Talvitie deltar i Unescos kulturpolitiska konferens Mondiacult 2025 den 29–30 september i Barcelona. Konferensen samlar tusentals beslutsfattare och experter för att dra upp riktlinjer för kulturpolitikens framtid.

29.10.2025 | Statssekreterare Mikaela Nylander leder Finlands delegation vid FN:s organisation för utbildning, vetenskap och kultur Unescos generalförsamling den 30–31 oktober. Generalförsamlingens 43:e session hålls den 30 oktober–13 november 2025 i Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Generalförsamlingen sammanträder vartannat år.

26.6.2026 | The Ministry of Education and Culture has added 22 new elements to Finland’s National Inventory of Living Heritage, based on a proposal by the Finnish Heritage Agency. With this update, the inventory now includes a total of 108 elements.

26.7.2026 | Unescos världsarvskommitté har tagit upp serien av arkitekturobjekt Aalto Works på världsarvslistan under sitt 48:e sammanträde som hölls i Busan i Sydkorea den 19–29.7.2026. Helheten består av 13 objekt runt om i Finland som ritats av arkitekterna Aalto och som är representativa för modern arkitektur.

Opetus- ja kulttuuriministeriö, sosiaali- ja terveysministeriö, Valtakunnallinen sosiaali- ja terveysalan eettinen neuvottelukunta ETENE sekä Suomen Unesco-toimikunta järjestivät 12.5.2026 seminaarin, jossa tarkasteltiin  YK:n kasvatus-, tiede- ja kulttuurijärjestö Unesco marraskuussa 2025 hyväksymää neuroteknologian etiikkaa koskevaa kansainvälistä suositusta.
