Based on an epidemiological assessment, there are no longer grounds for extending the Decree on the Application of the Emergency Powers Act and it is safe to return to school.

Young people’s perception of the nature of the job of a teacher and its role in society are aspects that young people find particularly appealing. The number of applicants in teacher education were on a downward path between 2015 and 2019. Young people believe that the deteriorating working conditions in schools have dimmed the appeal of becoming a teacher.
