Young people’s perception of the nature of the job of a teacher and its role in society are aspects that young people find particularly appealing. The number of applicants in teacher education were on a downward path between 2015 and 2019. The opening event for the year-long series of cultural events showcasing Nordic culture in Britain was attended by each country’s minister of culture.
